Do you neg rep people back when receiving neg rep?

I've only had a couple of neg-reps and they were completely irrational (one of them was accusing me of being an Iraqi or something ) but I wouldn't neg-rep back in retaliation. I might be a muppet but I'm not that petty

So far I haven't gotten that many -reps. But it's interesting to say that those -reppers seemed to have their god-mode-setting set to "On". They were complaining about meaningless things and/or said they didn't agree with me. As we all know disagreeing with somebody is not a reason to -rep. One -rep wasn't relevant as the post which received the -rep was quoted twice in the same thread with supportive comments added by the posters.

To sum it up they got their -rep and I was fair enough to explain to them why I did that. One guy thought that he then had the allowance to flame back which I responded to of course (sometimes I'm not an adult . Well, this guy only had one green box and I had my first gold one if I remember correctly, so I really crushed him ).

If someone's being an ass I just don't talk to them, and don't bump their threads.

I might leave a sarcastic reply if they really bury the Dick-Meter needle..

The only -reps I got so far were in return for one. And the ones I gave were fully deserved ( well IMO ).
So actually I don't mindgetting one back, coz its worth it.

What i will do if I get a -rep for a post and don't understand why...hmmm, I will tell you then

Once I accidently -reped someone instead of +rep, luckily Pepper asked me why...rofl, I still wonder how that happend and it took me a while to give back 2 +reps to make it up

you know whats even more crap is people -rep that dont even participate in the thread that they are giving -rep for. like say i make a few comments on someone else's reply, then someone not participating in the discussion gives -rep because they didn't agree with my reply. --->
