That is true. It's a good question. Mine is the same.

Profile says Fame: 1719
But in my posts is says 2308

Oh, just tried it out, got 3 more Fame in the profile after giving 3 Gratzes on HoF section.

I just gratz'd random HoF posts and it went up accordingly on my profile.

So .. on your posts - says how many times you've been Gratz'd.
On your profile - fame means how many gratz's yo've passed out.

Weird.

Yup, it's pretty unclear, could be named a bit differently to avoid such confusement
