EF's Fame system

Can someone explain to me how you gain Fame? I believed it came from posting when you get an ATH, HOF, or Uberloot.

I have 85 but I've never posted any of my HOF's and so on. I'm confused

It comes from when you post in the hall of fame section or achievements section. You get the fame when someone hit the "grats" button.

Odd, I've never posted in either. That I remember.

NVM must of come from those 2 Achievments I posted. I get it now.

Thought it was only from loots.

If I remember correctly, the mods moved some posts to the achievement place when they made it - to clean up the forum. People afterwards must have gratzed you

Me an Faustian are at the same rep level (bubbles-wise).

I have one orange bubble for over a month now, and I did receive some rep. How hard can it be to get another orange. The light green ones came all in about 2 weeks.

Hey, i've got similar question and just didn't want to start a new thread so

So, what's the difference with the 'fame' you see on your profile then?

As for me it says in profile statistics:
Fame: 30

And then:
Gratzed 307 times in 7 Posts
Fame: 307 Achievements: 7

So what's the difference with those fames?
