Personally, I would not care - but I would care if there are restrictions in what we as game-interest people can discuss and not. When it comes to game-related things not flaming or harming EU/MA. I would, as said, rather keep people in here than to send them away to the "enemies" cave!

And I'm not talking about 711 different kind of sub forums , one each game - but ONE sub-forum were you can discuss how to install Oblivion or how much it sucks that wow don't have TP-chips !

yes u right. there could be a technical solution for sure. i have to apologize for beeing short and 'not to deep thinking'.

Unless there is not an appropriate forum for it to be discusssed i.e other games.

You might find if this forum was created you would get players that have nothing in common within Entropia finding they actually have something in common outside of Entropia which in turn would mean they make friendship inside Entropia. This would benifit the Entropia community.

I can understand not wanting people to advertise competion to Entropia, but i find it strange i could talk about an irl hobby yet cant talk about a online hobby.

Introducing 711

And the MB being perm banned is a reference to the rule whereby if you have 2 accounts, the oldest one ets permenantly banned and you post with your new account. Aparently MB has another account called Werty, hence the MB account will get banned. According to the rules.

I would imagine this applies to 711's account he had/has here before the 711 account was created.

I agree and I don't see how retail games are competitors of Entropia. One get fat marketing campaigns and cost to get hold of the game while Entropia is free to get hold of and marketing campaign is smaller. Also I don't any harm in talking about other games not like it's going to bring the forum down. Many forums out there allow ppl to talk about other games, why should a great forum like EF be left out of it.

You have to bann half of EF Communetys avatars for this rule and i dont know mutch forums that have such a strange rule. If you feel harmed by a little picture i dont know what to say ... Enforcing this rule will also not easy. Are you sure you know all Pictures from all other games to make sure you not delete Person A and leave Person B because you dont know it (but others users do and feel some more equal than others). It feel unconfortable to get a avatar restriction and there is no secuerty that this rule can forced in a far way threating all users Equal.

Rule # 7
Personal insults and name calling is also NOT allowed and will not be tolerated.

Does this mean we not allowed to write for example a scammers Name anymore or for what does this stay ?

Everything else looks ok as the most things should the common behaviour for a normal person and not even need rules to remind.

And whats with Faustians avatar/sig as example ? This fall pretty clear under the Advertising rule. But i can't say it offend me or disctract me or i feel the urgent need to run in the next liquid store. I would like to see this no ad rule soften and mods decide from case to case whats advertising and what not.

well ... there is just a new thread about other RCE games..

IMO EF shouldnt be resource for alternatives for EU. It lures players to other games and that hurts MA, hurts all of us.

Of course u cant prevent that this will happen.

So i think a 'other games' forum would be a bad idea cause it makes it too easy to go to another 'game'.
