It just seems a little expensive to me

I thought $5-15 for a year would be a fair price for what is essentially just a couple of extra features

As much as I would love to be a modified member it just doesnt seem to be good value for money

You can get the Adjusted Membership for 1 year for $19, very close to the "fair" price range you mentioned, and not only pick up a lot of cool features, but also help support EF

Im not looking at it from a fair or value for money point of view.

When I have just spent $2,000 on a virtual house, what is another $50 to help support a very valuable forum ? Exactly

Skam, its nothing personal, Im just saying, pretty girls like yourself, will get more + rep usually, due to this being a male dominating 'game'. If you noticed _I_ (and Skam as far as I remember) never posted anything else than our faces - were a lot of other girls posted MUCH more than that - but still it doesn't mean they hit the top rate on the forum (even though some were quite intelligent too, sometimes

You might be right though, that some might feel tempted to rep you because of your face - but honestly, It must be a minority (if I think of the responses I got) and I have a faith in peoples judgements and believe that most are intelligent enough to see what is behind the facade and rep "girls" for more than their blue eyes or pretty dark curls (like Skam who has contributed to this forum with lots of very nice things)!

Actually I sometimes - as now - chose to have NOT that cute pictures of myself on my avi to show people that I am a girl who really doesn't care if people find me physical attractive or not

- there are more in my skull than powder and lip gloss.

I posted earlier in this thread. It's not about whether you feel it is expensive for a few extra features. It is about whether you think the forum is valuable or not. The extra features are just a thankyou for showing your support in fiscal terms. There are gradings because not everyone can pay or wishes to.

I paid top notch not for the features but because I believe in this forum and want to support it.

or maybe means that people might harbour resentment against those that came before and was able to pay a couple of dollars for a lifetime of premium membership compared to paying a couple of dollars for a few months of the same features now.
