well, i wanted to make an easy grats thread too, errr
i mean, i wanted to thank all my finished victi.., uhm, disciples

maybe i should start again

my 25th (if i counted right) disciple reached 100% 3 days ago, and i released him yesterday (my mentor level is still 12 , and my prof standing says inept mentor, hilarious)
since most ppl don't stick with official mentoring that long, i call it an archievement

wow it IS an achievement INDEED !

You must be a very good mentor, Alice, since you managed to get so many graduated disciples Im curious though. Since the mentor-skilling is stupid (sorry MA), did you at least get better gifts?

GRATTZ on the major achievement! i too tried mentorin with few disciples, they logged off, never to logg on again, well thats basically it...it seems i cant insipire them enough!

if i ask my disciples i usually hear words like "great", til now no "astonishing"
err, oki, back to the ground, I think I'm not the worst mentor outta there
the great I don't accept usually

my gifts so far
loads of alpha ME (around 7), brave ME (around 6?), tasmo ME (uhm, 2 ?)
EP17 ME (no idea), M2725 ME (3? ), manticore deathbringer ME (3-4)
nothing special

unfortunatly i sold my first gifts (they had a market value back then, since there were no L items, which caused that lower ME items are finally completely useless)
nowadays i place them into storage boxes, besides, my first small storage box is full, i need a new one soon

the mentor skill has no known effect on the gift (there are mentors that started before VU 7.4, those got around 20 level per disciple, so there are mentors who are around level 600, maybe even more; nowadays you just get 1/2 of a level, if you get a skill gain at all)

the mentor skill gain has no effect on HP afaik, nothing on loot, whatever
it has just one effect, it determines the prof standing

i don't know if its still the case, but before a disciple got a window like
want to accept mentor?, mentor name, prof standing

and if that prof standing shows inept it is a bit stupid imo, especially after 25 finished disciples what is kinda rare

oh, i wrote a support case about the skill gain, topic, "less than before skills in mentoring"
answer was like "skill system changed blabla, VU 7.4, you may not get a skill gain all the time, but if you get one it is more"
read, if you get a skill gain at all, means 1/2, it is more than 20 level than before
guess a copy and paste answer without knowing the real topic
