Phantom set for a lvl 7 evader

Hey guys,
atm i`m using my Manis + beast, but soon i`ll be able to switch to Alpis + dante, and as my dmg will increase by a lot, i`m looking for a better armor.
Currrently using a Knight set.

Ansd as i`m a bit a fan of UL items, i`m thinking about a Phantom + 5 b setup as my future.

So is this a good / an OK setup to go:

- Apis + beast;
- Phantom + 5Bs`
- EK2600
- 108 hp;
- lvl 7 (!!) evader;
- lvl 8 paramedic

SWont i pay tooo much inrepair bills, and if yes, what evader lvl would you suggest to start using the Phantom armor?

with apis+dante, you either aint going to need armour or will be hunting mobs that will give you huge decay bills.


afterthought... are you really skilled for the apis? needs lvl27 blp rifle to use and lvl31 to max, i'd have thought you'd have alot higher evade and HP by then.

What Ari said. From what you've told us of your skills, and guessing the rest from that, you should be using a much smaller gun and you're not ready for Phantom. Don't try to get ahead of yourself, you will only lose PEDs.

i used plain ghost until evader lvl 15 or so, +5a until level 20, +5b until level 25 (currently at 26), and i'll probably move to phanton when i reach lvl 30.

Actually it sounds about right to me. I haven't chipped anything and I'm always a little surprised of how low the evade (and paramedic) is compared to the other skills. I have about 36 in rifle, 34 in handgun and only 14 in evade. If someone on top of that had chipped rifle and not evade they would get an even bigger difference.

But to answer the original question; your repair bill will be big at that level of evade. If you have the peds for it; keep different sets of armor and make sure you are never over protected.

but...armor decay is always lower than fap decay (I'm not talking about adj/imp/mod) so armor+plates are important...but...compare your gear with ubers gear hunting big mobs...and you will see, that you spend much more peds per each mob killed then them...so...if you are "eco-aware" or "profit-aware"...better stay with manis+beast + medium mobs until you reach 70 lvl hit/dmg or more

Your ped card is going to cry.

You need some serious evade levels there.

I was ~ lvl23 evader when I switched to jag/ghoul, then made up the parts i didn't have with phantom.

If you want to try an armor that isn't knight, switch to ghost before trying phantom. Basically TT and will give you an idea of the decay.

Hint: Buy Evade.

Im the only one that thinks that you start whit a good armor and moves down whit time ?

As for me I allway whant to hunt litel bigger mobs, and in the start you need a good armor. I had phantom for some time, when I was low skills, ¨the declay was not soo bad. As more skilled you become the lower armor you can use on the same mob.
eco is overrated, dont matter off what you have you will allways loose peds, and allways fun to hunt hogglo insted off feffoid

My armor way, Phantom -> Ghost -> Bear

I will never buy a better armor then Bear, and if I do, it's going to be a L that I realy need for a thing.

ATM i`m 25 hit and 24 dmg prof.
At the rate i`m gaining the standings, i think 3 week and ill be at 31 both, and that is the time i can use the Apis at 10/10

Yes, i actually have to agree with you that it`ll be more expancive (taht`s why i rechecked and made the post here)
Hmm atm i`m mayne thinking about 2 setups for me:
- stick with Knight + 5a / 5b and Manis + Beast;
- get the Apis + dante and some bigger armor to have some fun every nor and then.
