hi everyone : )

IM a mid level hunter... my skils are curently arround 800 rifle/ 1700 hg
my evade is set at 546 and not mutch dodge( i rarely hunt bots).
so the question is i curently use gnome but is not enough anymore..
whoul it be better to change armour, plate it? i whant the best economic choice like pixie +5a or if u have any other ideas (L) sets or any other combination (mobbs i hunt are mostly cut/stab) the rest of my gear is opalo+101 ,isis clb5,ewep 2527 ME , breerm3a. fap 10/50/vivot1

moobs i wanna hunt mostly( atrox up to provider,feffs,atrax,cornudos,buuls,maffs,cows)

Adding 2a plates to the Gnome would help, and getting something more versatile like Shogun would let you hunt a new range of mobs more effectively. It'd be much better than Gnome for Atrox, for example. Gnome would still be better for some mobs though. I wouldn't worry about anything stronger just yet with your skills.

like whould it be better to change to shogun or any other set ?

Gnome is good for impact mobs. but if u like trox/trax shogun is the way to go with 2a plates OR if u can afford 5a plates

Decay isn't something you need to think much about much with armour. Generally, for more protection you'll pay more decay. Shogun would decay more than Gnome against Atrox, because it's protecting you more, but against Exarosaur it would protect a little less, so would decay less.

I find it's good to have a few sets handy (and various sets of plates) so you can choose a set to best balance protection based on the mob you're hunting.

The reason your Gnome is not enough, is because your not really a "mid level" hunter yet.


Stick with smaller mobs, or move up in armor and prepare to lose alot more peds

ok i have a 5a plates now xD, i think im going to stick to gnome+5a´s then i will probably jump to shogun...later

gnome + 2a ftw

not getting hit by a mob is the better than any armor protection, skill UP!
there is old saying, it was something like... 'only noobs need armor'

with low hp's you should stick to mobs that don't hit you everytime and if they do they are doing less than 10-15% of you hp in damage/hit.

Full Ghost + 5B's will take care of most any cut/stab/impact critter (1.0 Damage per hit usually) on Eudoria up to about Old Alpha. (Speaking from experience) Mostly with Atrox and Commacadua

For that matter of fact, its better than Jaguar in that area at a fraction of the price

I'm a (very) noob hunter with 3300 rifle 3400 handgun and >1k evade.

I mostly use Ghost with 2a or with 6b for bristles or Shogun with 6a for bots
