Ghoul vs Jaguar

Need input from the real specialist about thsi 2 real good armors. all compared whitch is best from the Hunter point of view?

if you don't mind missing the electric protection & have enough peds spare, i def say jag, even if the foots are hard to get

Add big plates of different kinds, and it all comes down to a few points difference in damage.

I have used a combo of Jaguar/Tiger for a long time now, and I dont need to upgrade any more. The huge mobs I cant hunt, I just stay away from or hunt in team.

Boil down those numbers, I believe you should take Phantom into your equation as well:

In the end, I guess its all about markup now. How much are you willing to pay for extra 5 points protection against the big carnivores Atrox, Atrax and Hogglo??
Are those 6 extra penetration/burn points worth it to hunt Robots too, or dont you have a Vigi for those?
Jaguar dont fancy electric critters like Allophyl, Bristlehog or Tezla. On the other hand Jaguar will keep you standing against small Snabels, Formi and Kreltin, but dont you just change to Gremlin for those?

As a hunter, I like Jaguar for the good stab/cut/impact combination it has. But if I hadnt bought my set at a time when a part cost aound 300 ped, then I would definately think twice about it.

Is Jaguar worth 20k when you can get Ghoul or Phantom for 6k ?!!?

id say jag or phantom coz ghoul is hard to find coz of the stuff u need to make it

It depends. If I got jag, I'dd sell it for ghoul really. For the markup jag isn't worth it compared to ghoul.
Your impact protection is beter, also electric, cold and burn are higher. About durability, does it really matter in the new system???

Also consider the fact that ghoul will get cheaper in the future since it's crafted. (I hope so). If only tridenite would get cheaper, it would matter very very much. Lets hope for a tridenite ath

About more beautifull, it is all taste, I don't like th color of jag. And with jag you can't wear a hat.

The big diffrence in cut and stab is a real help.

And ill say this, even tho no one mentions it.... youll find the weight of the set being more apparent than you ever thought .

I thought about the jag being a miner for the wieght. But since they nerfed the shit outta agi it does not matter again anyway.. the stuff I out ran the second week in game that I cant out run now only hits me for 1 and I get more evade dragin em around for hours as I mine anyway.

60 agi...how sad.. now 80 is the new 60 I guess..Bar gets raised again...

Btw I see everyone worried about cut and stab... does not the higher pen work for pvp as well with the jag?
