Nemesis (L) and Vigilante (L)??

As an owner of both a Nemesis and a Vigilante armor I have been wondering why those two armors still have not droped in an limited version. Is this a strategy from MA or will it just be a matter of time befor the first ones are looted??

Because we all limited versions of the other armors.

I suspect it's simply a matter of time, but perhaps it's because these armors already have (L) versions comparable or superior. They're sorta caught in the gap between cheapo armors and uber armors.

Limited versions of unlimited armors that were dropped so far, had their L alternatives even before (Solir, Luna and so on as alternatives for Boars, Jaguars, Tigers...). Actually I expected to see L vigis and neme in this VU, but instead we get L supremacy, angel and such. I thought that MA will want all low to lower mid level avatars to use L armors, but it seems that it's the offer for higher medium level avas now (which could be good as I wouldn't mind having L supremacy for special occasions if it was at affordable price, but I suppose such L versions of uber armors will be quite rare and expensive). Anyway, sooner or later we will have even Pixie L. It's just a matter of time

nemesis and vigi are realtively common drop armors, and have very close equivalents, and also suck ass. ghost for TT kinda destroys the usefulness of these (if they had any usefulness to begin with ) and shogun/knight/paladin drop every few seconds

Lets hope that MA thinks that there is no need to introduce limited version of these armors. That would make them somewhat special again

Huh? Try pking in ghost and compare to vigi. Just take a look at what people are wearing at the high warrior/trooper spot.
Vigi is very usefull, just as ghost, but for different reasons.

I suppose Immortal has some experience in PKing too so I suppose it's opinion based on ingame experiences. Ghost with 6a can be quite ok against laser weapons, never tested it against BLP ones, as I automatically put on vigi when going to pvp. Good thing of ghost can be shrapnel and acid protection, altough I'm not sure if such protection of ghost is not simply to low to have any meaning.
But I can't agree that vigi is bad armor. It helps me to take down every generation of drone, warrior or trooper I encountered so far (haven't met the highest warrior and trooper generation in their new spawn yet, but I think with proper skills vigi will be enough for them too).

Anyway, what convinced me in the past that we will have L vigi soon was the fact that many L armor parts were dropped from Umbras during Orb events. And I noticed when hunting them near Minopolis orb, that some of them definetely wear vigi shins. So I expected that soon we will see all armors up to Tiger having their L version and only high end armors (angel, shadow, senti, supremacy) will remain unlimited as uber toys. But it looks like MA is trying to give uber skilled and equipped avas the competition of fast skilling (tkanks to SIB) and well equipped less skilled avas, ofc those who have ambition and some money to buy new L gear. Maybe they want to expand a base of players able to colonize new planets, who knows... It can be quite interesting.
