Been thinking about this a few times..

So there are 4 types of "special" dmg, Electric, Cold, Burn and Acid

Electric dmg has the thunderbird armor

50 protection against electric

Cold dmg has Viking

again 50 dmg

And Burn dmg har Salamander

50


So what does acid get? a bunch of (L)uber PK armors with acid thrown into the mix? The serum with it's oh so mighty what, 16 points? (or 19 or whatever)

And i know there is the PotE but well that's just not the same, and still not 50 points ..




So where is my Viper armor?



ps. i know there aren't all that many acid mobs ^^ but i want an armor for it none the less

I'd say the reason it was never implemented was because globsters were only relatively recently added. before then there were no high acid dmg mobs in the game. the uber (L) armors offer quite a bit of acid protection tho i think

i agree. there should be an acid specialized armor.

you might want to forward it to marco or frank, and see what they will say (i suggest frank atm, hes been a bit more active then marco, guess hes busy)

They are both busy with CE2 implementation...

Send a support case and they will forward it to the support team (armor might this COULD exist, just not looted yet? )

Isnt there some crazy acid stat L plate now to compensate for the lacking of uber armor now?

2E(L) plates has 22 acid protection. I have a set and in gremlin with a fapper globsters are doable solo for medium lvl players.

Couldnt agree more with you on this one, always been wondering why there was no UNLIMITED acid armor, while i'm wonderign too why there are no decent sharpnel plates

Why just acid then ? Why not specialized armors for penetration, cut, impact and shrapnel also ? Oh and there's 8 types of damages in EU, not 4.

It's a cool idea, I'd like to see a dedicated UnL Acid armour brought into the game and possibly more acid mobs too.
