PoE Footguards given to PoE owners

Yes but at Full TT like the current set owners PoE feet where on delivery.....

Like that the Markup of PoE would stay the same as no one would need to pay more Than TT for the Feets and the Set would remain at the same price..

It makes sense though. The footguards i mean. Before they were just shin guards with a shoe stuck at the bottom. Logicallly foot guards were the next step. And in any case we're too far in. Taking out the footguards suddenly would destroy the economy. Why? Imagine spending 300 PED on some ghost foot guards. Happy with your full set you log in after an update to find only shins. You realise that they are once again merged. That's a lot of PED lost there (for a ghost part). The market would have a gaping wound (hiiigh prices for anyone that bought shadow feet) and you would have 2 types of people.


1. People that cashed in on these footguards
2. People that lost a lot on these footguards

So, end of the day whining wont get rid of these footguards. You can't hunt not wearing armour. You'll loot crap and make crap. It's a very different situation unlike the clothes. Then again MA aren't exactly not going to give an ample supply of footguards. With the new armour equipping tax they lose one pec per person if that person isnt in possesion of and using a foot guard. Lets say half of the people who play (300k?) dont have footguards. That's like losing about $150 every time those 300k people dont equip they're footguards.

The original post was say there was a new version of the clutch, the company wouldn't give it away for free, this is exactly what happened to me with the brakes, they worked fine, they were not defective or dangerous, people just wanted the new ones for less brake dust.

It doesn't matter if you think MA is right or not, saying things like this never happen anywhere else is just wrong. In this case, I think the armor sets they gave out became defective when they were no longer complete.

Certainly, the footguards are here to stay yes - I'm not sure anyone is claiming otherwise

Basically at the end of the day what will happen is:

(i) Some people loot foot guards they don't need and make some money selling them.
(ii) Some people loot the foot guards they require and make no PED but the value of their inventory increases (unless market prices on the rest of armor drops to keep a full set worth roughly what it was before).
(iii) Some people don't loot the foot guards they require and buy them. They lose PED but the value of their inventory is unchanged (unless market prices drop as above).
(iv) Some people don't loot the foot guards and can't afford or refuse to buy them and so sell their armour set and downgrade. If this happens a lot you might see the prices on high-end armors drop.
