I don't care if having a new part increases the value of my set or not, I Just want my protection back. If complaining straight to Mindark and not through support is the way to go, then I think that is what we should do. In my opinion, after being here for over 4 years, this is THE biggest screw up that they have intentionally implemented. Notice how they don't even respond to this issue? It just goes to show that they KNOW they are wrong, otherwise they would come here and justify their actions. Who knows, maybe they are working on a solution right now and thats why they haven't said anything.
Sometimes mindark also does it in terms of hoping the angry wave will ride off. and calm down again. Anyhow that happened before with the Amp nerf.

In that case. Its the community's fault that they let mindark get away with it. As you can see through the thread. a few dont care. Others think its good. And some think its bad. So the community dont stand together. We problaly is too big and a too different individ Community to do that.

But if just the majority. Which is seems to be. That dont like this. Would stand together. problaly we would have a chance to prove or atleast show that this is not just "wait for the people to calm down" kinda stuff. But a "lets find a solution to fix this mess" Problem.

And i vote 100% for that we do NOT live in a dream world. When we want the same as the POE owners. Its not like mindark can brag out. that this game is already cheap enough. So this will only be a little expense for players. Its huge. for a more common armor like nemesis. or jaguar. its still enough for a smaller repair on your car. Or eat dinner outside on a decent resturant for a weeks time or more. or the same equilant to 10 dvd's or around that. its quite a chunk of money for just the general player.

For uber armors its like a big repair on your car. Or a new television. its just lame Nothing more. Nothing less. And a company shouldent be outright lame to their costumers. Its wrong!

I think they just try to solve it the old way by leaving it to rot. but guess what, Chapelle still was right in that video - no cookie from many of us this time! =)

So Either MA puts some footguards in my inventory like they did to the PoE owners- or I wont have a full Jaguar - like I had in 8.* VU.
Hmm I have seen the Jag foots drop from olds and matures, perhaps even youngs. Tobad I havent loot one in all this time.

something else
My question is about the POE foots, are they given full TT or TT 0 ped, that bothers me even more than the upmark it supposed to have.

The set was also a present for the event and each part of that has also a huge markup, now there is an extra part and it is suddenly a big deal..

when I check wiki for the rare transmitter it is even sold twice on auction for only 10k (I dont know if the owners back then knew it would be the POE set) and they must feel realy stupid....

It was not revealed what they will get for it. Some people took a chance and bidded 10 k on them. and hope they had something for it worth the ped. and it turned out to be a kinda great deal.

To my mind, it's quite simple: MA has just increased whatever income they generate from armour by 16.67% at the flick of a switch. As soon as someone thought of it, I'm sure it was a no-brainer.

It simply would have been a matter of weighing up how frustrated we'd all be against how much more income it would bring them.

By the way, anyone who comes in here and accuses people of whining can expect a flood of -reps headed their way. This thread is for the people who are unhappy about the issue, not those who don't care. If the issue doesn't affect you then please add to the thread with constructive criticism at the very least so Mindark will take the issue seriously. I think Mindark at least owes us an explanation, if nothing else.

Tim, read this slowly and more than once :

MA WILL NOT GENERATE 16.67% MORE INCOME FROM FOOTGUARDS

(your decay bill will be the same )

that's right.

until, they up the hit rate of the creatures, becasue you can now take more damage. which also has the added bonus of making it harder for those of us who don't usually use any armour.

it's a well thought out and totally evil plan.

I´m sorry but how can adding an extra armor part equal having the same decay bill? The only way for that to work is to make decay less on the total armor!?
