The minumum decay is written up in the entropedia armor decay article. It affects this thread any time the decay associated with the claimed protection is less than the minimum decay factor of the armor. Those data points can't really be used to determine the formula.

It's possible I got confussed with the plate thing. I seem to recall (but don't care to look atm) reading that as long as you had some imp protection against imp damage, all that protection was applied to the total damage given by the mob. Alice tested ghost today on a number of different mobs. Because of the anomolies, I'm hesitent to post that data without more tests. But twice when defending against a spider, she got 4.783 pecs of damage on ghost. Maybe spiders have additional damage types we didnt count on.

You can try with a tantillion, if you want. I'm pretty sure that it's random no matter what the player's evading abilities though.

I must say that i really apreciate the Work you do Jimmy B/Doer and some other guys

You do the work that i think is tedious Calculating, Drawing diagram , specutlaing like a true Scientist

But for me is more about playing the game and i am a Skillfreak, and play as much as i can..

And while i cant prove what i said earlier with any Test consisting of nice Diagrams ect.

I can say that while i am playing the game i am experience the changes while getting more skills.

So for example if a Evader lvl 20 with Tiger+5B enters Dome 4 on CP and meet a Devastator he will be hit around Dmg 40 almost every hit.
If he returns when he is lvl 40 Evader, he is gonna get hit for around 1-20 dmg occational around 40ish from a Dev .

Thats why some of the more skilled player like Stormer can stand with 3-5 Aurlis and only using Gremlin+5B and not die

Oki with that said, i know that this is not exactly the subject you are discussion here.

But maybe in some way( that you can calculate) the fact that high evade makes mobs do more Min dmg also affects the decay on armor in a different way then your calculation will say ( when your result is finished)

Taken in consideration that some mobs have a big gap between Min dmg and max dmg.

I hope i dont ruin your Topic

Your test should should be concluded on Thougher mobs as Aurlis and i am sure the result will be completley different.

It seems that higher Evade doesnt affect the Min dmg on weak mobs as it does on Thougher mobs

Does seem to be pretty close to the decay formula I posted earlyer. I get 4.87 using that formula. The error might be caused by the variations in durabulity in the armors.

infact the most intressting mob to do this with is tantillion, if you use gremlin.
Since gremlin is the only armor u use for those mobs
atleast, that is the case for me.

I never hunt aurils so it wouldnt help me much =(

But i think atrox domi might server a good purpose on this and help to see the exakt decay.
they will deal a max hit over the armors protection, and we will see exaktly how much it decays on a full hit.
Then we go to some small mob, tantillion young, and let it hit us, and see how much it decays from small hits.?

this sounds ok?
