Gremlin armour for CP?

I think it is about time I went to CP, and for this I will need another set of armour. Ive seen a few screenshots of others at CP wearing gremlin in the hall of fame section. Firstly what is the appeal of this armour for CP? Im assuming from info about Aurili on entropedia that this armour is also used with either 5Bs or 5As? and what sort of maturity is possible with this set up? will I need a team to hunt in this armour or can I take aurili solo? or which dome is gremlin most suited to?

If anyone has a different view on a better armour for CP hunting please share. Im really looking for an armour which won't cost too much max possibly full nemesis or equal value and is also eco. I usually don't buy all-round armours like ghost and gremlin and prefer the buy armours most suited to the mob im hunting, in this case Aurili.

Gremlin is cheap, has good durability and when twinned with 5As, 5Bs or 8A (L)s provide adequate protection against the alien foes.

However, if you are not skilled enough, Gremlin won't be enough. Personnally I believe that if you cannot hunt at CP in Gremlin+Plates, you shouldn't really be there.

The Kreltin dome can be done in Goblin + 5Bs too, but again, this requires a reasonable amount of skills and dieing is par for the course up there to be honest.

Gremlin is one of the best armors in game. if you have decent evade (above level 35) and a good fap - like adj - is probably the best option for small domes (D1 up to D3). With imp/mod fap is the best armor for D4.
However, a better choice for lower skilled people is a stronger armor. Like phantom/ghoul/jaguar/tigre/boar... Plates - 5b. On any of them. You can try to go cheapper... but you will pay for that more.
If you will make team with few people, gremlin is the best.
Do not use ghost on CP. It will not work.

The reason to use Gremlin with 5Bs on CP is simply that it doesnt over protect. However, with really low evade youll get slaped in Gremlin. And if you dont have a good enough fap, youll be paralyzed alot, AND if you dont have enough hp youll end up dying alot .

I found that when i had like 3500 evade, and 140 hp wearing 5B Gremlin started to feel like a good option. You can easily have less than that to wear the gear, but its just a mark where Gremlin starts to feel like its no problem at all and you dont need to fap alot.

Oh, and forget about wearing Gremlin for the bigger domes if you dont have sweet skills, or a faper.

Actually, it will, but its not as good as Gremlin and breaks much sooner than gremlin.

actually i beg to differ, it works very nicly thank you. in domes one and two, avoiding the kretlin olds and above, ghost is quite sufficient and if aurli is the focus it is better than gremlin. phantom would be better.

is it economic? dont care really, CP isnt economic without a big HP, adj fap and uber dmg/sec. is it fun? absou-bloody-lutely.

I dunno tho, id say id rather wear Gremlin than Ghost on CP. Therell just be less all around rapeage imo

Ok you are saying in your post put in couple K's of dollars and get up in cp ?
Its not very helpfull or realistic is it?

As already mentioned.

Gremlin +plates will do.
A more realistic fap would be a 2600.. I don't know that much about limited faps.

You will die.. why? Because when you are hunting 1 mob.. chances are likely that more mobs will add and that can be a biatch.
But thats ok. You will learn when you are there.. so a tagger might come in handy
and dam/sec also plays a mayor part in your decay costs.

Gremlin might be great eco but if you got smacked allot prepare to pay the bill

You can pay those K of peds before you go up or while you are there... Those K of peds can go on repairs or on stuff of value.
When you say you want to hunt there, there are 2 options. You go up to make money or you go up to pay money.
If you go up just for fun and are ready to pay for fun, there are some nice L options for armor. Grab a maddox+beast, Serum or better, 8A or close to that, 1k ped or as much as you want to spend for fun and start shooting.

CP is not a place for noobs. Or it is, if they are ready to pay. In the end, is all about ones purposes in life.
But on forum, people are usualy interested in economy and smart decisions. Some good decisions may need fair amounts of ped's. But then again, he did not asked how can you hunt snables cheap...
In that armor list are some cheap crafted armors under 10k. That is not alot considering the place you want to hunt.

Is always the option to come up in goblin+plates or with no plates and die 10 times before you kill a mob. Some do it like that. If he likes it, is welcome to go for it.
