Woohoo! Got my Gold Card at last!


I ordered it 5 weeks ago (19.02) and MA sent it almost right away (21.02), but it took more than 4 weeks to transmit it from Sweden to Russia. Not too fast I'd say. Anyway, now I have it and feel safe .

I landed on Calypso on Thursday March 20, 2008 and was greeted by Emma. I thought of playing the role of a real noob but I had some chipping out of my old avatar to do and needed to get my stuff moved over so my old account could be closed ASAP. Chipping out was a royal PITA. Another month on Calypso has confirmed to me something I always knew: I'm not cut out for business. My network and knowledge of the market have grown, and I do a reasonable volume of trade, but in the end I always give my sellers an overly generous break. I also have been acting as a ticket agent for Freyr's hangar. There is renewed interest in space travel since the new asteroid resort opened up last month, but the people I do business with are not really the type...
