"Hacked?"

Recent I started noticing items missing from my account. Not enough to raise suspicion, just 1 or 2 ped at a time. Then, about 2 weeks ago, right after I borrowed 1k peds from my SOC leader as an event prize, ALL the items on my account disappeared! I immediately ran Spy Bot S&D, and found something that it thought was a Trojan, as well as a key logger, which I deleted. I then changed my password and user name and deleted the macro I had used to enter my user name and password since the VU. I ordered a GoldCard and all was well (I thought). The next day I was at my friends apartment and I saw him enter MY old username and password into the login screen! I was pissed and demanded him to give back the money and items from my account, but he denied ever taking any items. Needless to say I no longer associate with him. The moral of this story is choose your friends wisely!, and more importantly GET A GOLD CARD! If I had a gold card at the time this never would have happened!

I knew I would do that to anyone that messes with my stuff. If you crap him hard enough he might give you his login info so you could see if he got some of your stuff... btw, I know that not a good advice, but be sure that is what I would do. [/I][/COLOR] |
