Well, i don't have an elaborate exposition in me at the moment, but i found satisfaction in reaching 7k in Rifle skill a few days ago, all of it natural (~171k PEDs medium cells since RDA). My Handgun is at 5100 and has pretty much stayed there since i unlocked Coolness and made the switch. Two years ago, i'd be about halfway to 10k in Rifle by now, but since the big one, the same skilling only gets me to 7k (about halfway to 8k).

The great thing about EU and MindArk is that they regularly throw things at you so annoying that you can't help but step back and take stock of your situation. The particular straw in this case has to do with a third ATH on my grinding mob by the same guy in six months.

This is the log of my quest for a Scipulor überloot as mentioned in Scipping Orders of Magnitude. I haven't looked at the results for the scip hunts separately, so this is a chance to sort and compile them. My tendency has been to go elsewhere when the loot is particularly bad, so my most lossy hunts have been on other mobs and aren't accounted for here.

I was fed up with not having a good HOF to my name early this year. In spite of endless hours of grinding tantillions for skills, the many tantillion überHOFs i had witnessed all passed me by, and I really needed a change from the drudgery of the M2A+A102 and Mamba finisher. Fortunately, i'd finally reached a skill level (and therefore efficiency) where i could begin to feel ok taking off the training SIBs and going fully old-unlimited.
