All alone and all good

As some of you may know I disappeared a while back while leaving friends and a society without a clue. It's rude and immature, but I really couldn't take it anymore. Entropia Universe started to feel like a night time job I really didn't want to go to and there wasn't any payout either. In other words, I was bored of the whole experience. I went on the same hunts everyday and every time I logged in I had to be a society nanny. For at least a year, Wanderers Society was sort of unstable and problems occured every day. Maybe it was because I was equally unstable and stressed out, but that's history now.

Going back to Entropia Universe I was actually happy to see that all the active members of the society had left. I hope they were all able to find good new homes where they feel accepted. From my point of view the society is over since I certainly can't rule it and I can't seem to find anyone willing to take my position. At the moment I'm waiting for it to be disbanded which sadly takes a week. When that time has passed I will be a happy little freelancer, at least for a while. I'm scared I will become unhappy again if I join another society directly. The best thing I can do is probably to cool off from all obligations and expectations. The reason I joined Entropia Universe was to have fun and if it isn't I might as well quit altogether.

Fun is exactly what I'm having now though. I'm not trying to make new friends or contacts and I'm not doing anything in particular to help anyone out. That's what my RL job is all about anyway. Instead I'm running around by myself learning about everything new in Entropia Universe, not to mention hunting without getting interrupted every second. I'm of course also having some chat windows open to discuss nothing and everything with the few close friends I still have in this universe. It's satisfying although bound to become tiresome after a month or two. When that happens I will join one of the societies I've always wanted to be a part of. The problem is that it's not just one society, it's like ten different I yearn to join at some time or another. I guess I may settle for the one that actually wants to take me in.

Please stop and have a word with me if you happen to see me ingame and you're bored, whoever you are. I might not be searching for new friends, but that doesn't mean I don't want any.
