Dawn: Calypso

Location: Nea's Place

I awoke in a frozen wasteland, far from anything familiar. I had been running with some of my society members, on our way to Segna Forest when I lost consciousness. It had been a very long run through hostile and cold terrain.

When I came to, my companions were nowhere to be found. I suspect they may have believed I had succumb to the cold of wasteland - I don't blame anyone for moving on - the wildlife here is particularly ferocious, and the climate a hazard all its own.

So, alone, out of ammo, and a long way from anywhere, surrounded by bristlhogs to the north, chompers to the south, and at risk of being shot by fellow colonists, I pressed onward.

It took less than an hour to find the familiar blue glow of the teleportation device, and choice of destination was a simple matter: Nea's place. A few hours in the sun to thaw my chilled bones was exactly what I needed.

And when I find my society members... well, won't they be surprised to see me again!
I may not have much, but I do have tenacity.
