How Many? A Lot. - How Often? Not Very.

I know that I pop a lot of Snarks, but just how many? I had done some rough estimates that showed it should be about 500-600 per 200ped run, but I do kill a fair number of assorted other mobs that I run into in my Snark hunting range, and I thought that would put me on the lower end of the range. I kill almost all of the Snarks using a Breer m2A + A102. The Faucer's and Molisk's usually get the Riker UL1 + 103, and for the Armax I use the Isis LR32 + 104.
On my last run I kept a tally. It was a very average run - and the the number and type of non-Snark kills is very representative of a typical run. While I occasionally have runs that deviate from this, they most likely balance each other out over time.
Here are the results:
Snarksnot Young: 171
Snarksnot Mature: 191
Snarksnot Old: 153
Snarksnot Provider: 69
Snarksnot Guardian: 14
Snarksnot Dominant: 0 (1/run is probably average)
Snarksnot Alpha: 0 (only found 2 so far)
Total Snarksnots: 614
Armax Bull: 5
Armax Cow: 9
Caudatergus: 2
Combibo: 0
Faucervix: 43
Molisk: 7
Total Non-Snarksnots: 66
Total Kills: 680
I've just completed run #35, so using this tally as an average, I've popped 21,490 Snarksnots since I started tracking results, not to mention a few thousand before that.
In that time I have had 3 Snark globals; 2 small ones - less than 60ped, and 1 large one - nearly 250ped. I also had 1 small Faucer global.
No, Snarks aren't a mob that globals much
Now, where is my Uber Snark?
