Well the good news is that I was able to pick up my Asus ES9600GT from the post office about an hour or so ago.
I have just installed it, but have yet to try out any games with this new card in yet. When I do I'll update this blog post with the information.
The damn card is larger than my old Radeon X1600, I actually had to move my 2nd hard drive down a bay and my sound card down a PCI slot so I could fit the card in properly.
But its all good, Its in now 
I really need to think about some more cable ties and some SATA hard drives
