So I had my competition and first national win over the weekend. Although ironically I won someone of another nationality because all the singaporeans in my category did not participate for one reason or another. I had a bad performance, and that was reflected in program component scores even lower than any of my test program component scores and past competitions. It was due to me being overly obsessive over the technical scores. I don't know why it so slipped my mind. I think its called pre-competition...

So yeah I've been experiencing lag with every single step I take, the screen shudders and then stops. When I stop running, I kinda glide a bit at the end too I really hope this is temporary.

I found out from a few friends that now you can pick stone off the ground. That got me excited so I went around looking for them, the lag didn't help and I didn't find any. I just can't wait for the lag to go away!!!

So my grandfather didn't make it and the funeral is over now. Things have settled down a little, and I have to start preparing for competition. It's going to be weird this year because essentially, I'm not going to have competition, although I can still compare my raw scores with other people, which isn't extremely accurate.
