The good thing is that it is only hundreds of PEDs. Imagine how much flaming and whining would go on if this is a 3.5K PED narc claim and you lost all due to this insane bug.

Support need to investigate issue before they reach for the copy paste drawer. I think the problem here is that they must have so many issues complaining about not being able to reach claims, that they assumed this was the same.
Still, it’s no excuse. Players would rather wait for an issue to be investigated properly than have a copy and paste answer straight away. At the very least the support guys should be made to have some in-game experience so they can evaluate issues correctly. I hope this is sorted out fast, and there is some sort of response to this thread by an MA representatives. Even if it’s just to let the community know its being looked into |

That sucks Joe. Sure you can take the hit of losing 100 ped TBH. But if this happened to someone struggling it would be terrible for them.
Maybe I should write a support case stating the fact that the support team is bugged and doesn't do what is advertised, "supporting". |

My support case is still open, I haven't had the second brush-off yet.
That three of us have had this suddenly in the last 3 days looks as if one of the programmers at MA made a change with unintended consequences. I hope the weekday Support team take this more seriously than the weekend team obviously did. Who is going to mine, if there is a risk that Globals can't be extracted? I'm not. |

The claim disapeared yesterday after a server restart, then i got this update from support yet.

We regret that in this case, our policies do not allow us to offer compensation for reports that we cannot verify. However we will try to locate the cause and prevent it from happening again. We have looked into your inventory and were not able to find the deed, this is probably because you could only see it while you were logged in, so it should have disappeared from your inventory by now. I haven't had a further reply to my Support Case, so I 've added
It is now 48 hours since I sent the Dxdiag print, and 5 days since this bug was reported. Even if you cannot find the cause quickly, why can you not fix my claim so that I can extract it, and why will you not indemnify me against any future occurrences so that I can continue mining? I've just noticed that my claim deed has disappeared too though. (It was there for at least 2 days) As everyone can see, this bug happened again this morning. It may be rare, but there are 5 instances reported in this thread (including mine). The screen prints that Joe Jeff and I both provided in these threads are surely conclusive verification that our reports are true; apart from that, their logs should confirm that these claims were not fully extracted. Mindark's response demonstrably contains two outright lies, and the inference that Joe Jeff has submitted a fraudulent case is outrageous. I'm not mining again until Mindark compensate the victims, and publicly announce they will indemnify anyone if it happens again. Last edited by chevrons; 05-15-2008 at 17:13. |
