Question: Issues with Textures

Hello All,
I have been playing around with crafting a few different textures and applying them to the clothes I make. The issue I'm having is, I can't see the difference in the clothes I even have the clothes at full TT value and still no difference. What's odd is that I have a full TT basic Allo shirt that was brown... now it's white but shows having allo texure in the description.. same with the exso shirt... no texture, just color...

Is it just me.... or is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I guess you video card dont handel shader 3 or your setting in EU option is too low.

Thanks, I have not adjusted any of the settings.... all was good a few days ago... I dunno but I'll look into it a bit further

Its because the textures are dynamic ;P

you mean settings of EU? or both EU and graphics driver settings

i once changed graphics driver settings which caused weird
behaviour in EU, sudden ctd and computer restarts etc

Same thing happens to me because of my crappy graphics card. Some textures I can only see if I set my graphics settings to maximum. Some I can't see at all, even when I do that.

I noticed some time ago, that some of my clothes too, had lost their leather textures, and just appeared as plain grey/white/dark colored.

This apparently happen to some textures (not all), if the videocard or texture settings in EU are not working full power.

After some adjustments to EU options, a new videocard and updated drivers, I now again see all textures.

If they show at 100% what they are supposed to, is hard to say.

A good way to check, is to make some comparisons of your ingame vision, with some of the best screenshots of new clothes and textures. Fx take a look in the thread from Sarah about texture and leathers.

Seems the BF tweeked the graphics options for EU before he logged on to his account... and forgot to tell me :P

I have had the same probs with my Bery clothes since a couple of updates back. ALL WHITE even at full TT my black pants looks totally weird 2 like greyish ass at full TT and its NOT that my Vid card cant handle it , they all looked fine a couple of updates back.

I wonder if it is similar to paint. When I first started to paint, I didn't know about it, so I used all kinds of colours. Some seemed to have hardly any effect at all, because I had not "unlocked" them. Now that I know better, I use the colours I have "unlocked" and the results are way better. There is a thread that lays out what level each texture becomes "unlocked" but I can't find it right now.
