Just curious... has anyone done any testing to see how many cans of paint it takes for max chance of success at various levels? Like how many cans it takes for max cos when you first reach the learning period? Or when you complete the learning period? And does it continue to go down afterwards, as you gain more skill?

Hopefully the thread I mentioned above will answer that, but I am still waiting for someone to volunteer the first set of data.

As matter of fact , som color did change with VU.
If you color something now with light green and look at same item colored before VU , its not same color.
The light green now is really a light green , kinda lime color.
But old item with old green still have the same color (i guess its stored in DB as RGB color).
So , be carefull , making matching item with old light grren is not doable.
Seems to be same with yellow(not sure), its looks like lighter now...But there is deep cadnium for dark yellow things.

lvl 2,685 (17,9 % of lvl 15) in colorer, maxed orange, so i suppose it is at 2,5 lvl

I'm actually level 26 (nearly 27)

and yes Etopia I found the same with someones shade of blue - it was different - probably to allow for the new colours.

Oh and I colour for the public

I find it quite fun to blow off the paints I loot and gaining some skills, but I ask you ubercolores..whats the best way to skill coloring ? Better to skill some other stuff like tailoring to raise colorer prostand ?
