I recieved this update today from support:

Hello,
It is finally time for the fix. Please place your items with converted color fields (Havoc Thongs and Tiger Stockings) in your CARRIED inventory. Please REMOVE all items of the same kind which were colored AFTER the VU 9.0. This is extremely important!!!

Once you have updated us in this case, we will proceed with the fix.

Put the item in your carried inventory and let them know when you have done it. What's not clear about that?

But take all other colorable items out of inventory?
And you have to unequip it?
