Lag normal in CND ?

I decided to venture into space to CND for the first time over the weekend and didnt quite like how slow everything was to do.

EG:running very slow.Hunting i would click macro to switch weapon,nothing happens,get hit ,click to switch again and maybe it would or i would have to just click button 5 or 6 times intill it would.

I found it worse then hunting near sweat camp or Neas place.

Please tell me this isnt the norm and its being worked on,Im in no real hurry to go back if this is normal.

And i dont think its my comp specs,because i had computer built to game specs and have no real problems anywhere else.

The running slow is normal as you are in space

To cut down on lag up there I used to 'Disable Streaming Audio' in the Client Loader Options. Try that and see if it helps

I don't lag to bad on CND to be honest, but random disconnects are another matter - hence why i call CND Crash N Disconnect.

I love CND though, kinda a love/hate relationship - anything can happen that next bomb, and ND does a good job with the tunes something for everyone.

Just an afterthought a friend who plays was getting bad lag up there, but dropping connection speed a notch in the loader helped, might work.

I was told to try this, did it, and have never lagged again up here.

It lags me there only in 2 places:
1. Dome 15th when I run a bit from tp and go near plants
2. Dome 7th when I run in a funny plants

This is bad, but it is because of vegetation. The rest is normal... means a bit laggy sometimes, but not so bad.
It lags sometimes when there is lots of miners on the radar all dropping bombs at the same time, but it lags me ONLY if I get a claim, so I don't mind it

If you have lag switch the life music off in log in panel settings. Sometimes this is the problem.

And you always run slow in space, it is the same when you do a beacon mission....

As has been said, it might be worth lowering your connection speed in the client loader. I didn't visit CND for a long time and when I recently went back it "felt laggier" than it used to.

And yes, you do run much slower on CP, CND or a beacon run; to be perfectly honest I think it's a simple illusion to make the places you're at seem bigger than they are.

I went to cnd a month ago and had very bad lag, in some areas only. I noticed dome 7 was free of creatures also Overall I enjoyed checking out new areas of the game. also I noticed most of my claims were bigger than on the other continets.

Movement in the domes is slow because of gravity, the lag however I think is mandatory depending on what hours you are on. Sundays can be murder. When I was going nights (RL) for me was nearly lag free, but daytime (late afternoons) got pretty bad at times.

Was usually around 3:30ish like when kids are gettin home from school..Kinda wondered if MA servers are shared with AOL.
