What BP = BP

Im new to crafting and wonder how you get different ones not for sale from tec?
Like to get a BP for a Breer M1 , do you need to make a different weap. and hope for a BP drop for that make?

Is there a site that would have a general listing of what to make to get certain BP,s by chance.

Im guessing there random to the skill your working..

And what is this BPC unlocking?

As for what bp loots what other bp's I think it is mainly random but some others here may shed extra light on that for you. I don't know of any site that lists them but that would be a great thing if there was one.

BPC= BluePrint Comprehension It unlocks at any level 10 engineering Profession so Mechanical componets, electrical componets etc etc when you reach level 10 it unlocks.

The BP's that you loot are related to what you are making. If you are crafting weapons you will loot weapon BP's. As far as I've ever seen it is random.

yes it is random but not complety you can loot bps +/- 5 the you are using

so a lvl 1 bp you are crafting will never give a bp lvl 7-10

(it was bugged a while back then you could get lvl 10 with lvl 1 craft)

Not totally true, it's +/- 3, so with for example a lvl2 bp you can loot up to lvl5 bp's.

And it was not bugged with that VU where you could loot lvl 10 bp's with lvl 1, it was a feature

You can also check at the auction for many different types of blueprints. Be careful starting out crafting, it can be very expensive. Many people try to skill on basic filters to start. It often takes quite a while to build up skills to have any chance to be successful on more desirable weapons and such. Good luck.

With a lvl2 weapon bp I never looted a bp higher than lvl 5.

For components it might be different. I looted only one lvl 10. But this one probably came with the new VU feature which was corrected quickly after that. I do loot lvl 9 bp, so for components it's probably +/- 4.

But for weapons I am pretty sure it's +/- 3

Sorry, but +3 is correct, try looting something above level 6 with standard dampers...

and iirc, it was even +3/-2

Doesn't matter what crafting profession, it's the same for components as for everything else.
