When skilling a BP like Basic Pattern Pants or Jester D-1 or Killian Sword, where the product is TT food, is it better to set the bar to quantity or condition? Will I get on average the same output per click no matter where I set the bar?. With Jesters you can sell the residue for markup so would the answer be different for this than for the pants? One thing I have heard is that if you craft on condition you can get better blueprints that you can't get on quantity. So what is the best choice for skilling BPs that are TT food?

Hi
Would be interesting if someone has actually tested this and documented it. Run 500 clicks on a P1 on condition and then on quantity. Summarize TT value..... I tried to do it a couple of weeks ago but test was spoiled due to a HoF with ~400 PED.... My feeling is that you get the same payback but you (as said) get more average loots with quantity... I always (on TT stuff) run on quantity if weapons or attachments but never on components. /Dendron |

When I click a product that is TT food (like mostly everything) - I click on condition. That way you have more chance of getting residue that actually has markup.
When I click something with value (eg bas. sh. metal) - I click on quantity. As easy as that. I. P.S. Havent seen much difference in skillgain... |

I would click quantity.
Why? Because with quantity, 50% or more of clicks you get material back. Meaning you can possibly have 50% or more clicks, from the same amount of material. On condition, 5% you will get back - if that. Also note that the longtime crafters only click full condition when they have an orange bar for success. Last edited by Immortal; 05-12-2008 at 08:32. |

![]() I'd like to add that in condition I get better BPs. But since I only clicked on condition with BP components I cannot say this is 100% positive. About the skill gain no difference at all. |

I'm gonna hijack this thread for a second rather than starting a new thread.
![]() When crafting a BP (L) (with a limited number of clicks) I am assuming you always do these on condition, correct? Is it best to click all available clicks or do you go til you HOF then stop and come back and do the rest later? That is all /hijack |
