Question noob question

Is there any chance i can start crafting smthing with like 200ped and go on profit?.. i mean no really profit but to not loose so much..

I want to start crafting but i don't know what to craft..
I've heard manufacturing is the most expensive thing in the game and you have to burn a lot of PED till you profit...

Can any1 give me some step-tips ?

THANK YOU !

200 ped will not go far.
Start with sheet metal or basic bearings they have high markup right now.
Otherwise, go to a technician and buy the Book II component bp it sells, I forget what that is, simple I springs or ruds or conductors, and skill that when you can afford it.
Book II components have SIB, and tend to generate more globals.
But it's a long expensive road, and I would not recommend concentrating on it, but rather doing it as a sidebar to hunting or mining.

THe stone bps are very cheap clicks and you will profit on them if you find the stones yourself (don't get frustrated though if you click a stone bp on quantity and it fails 10 times in a row). Basic Filters also very cheap click but not very exciting. Low TT value on them means a lot of fails. The key to sustaining yourself in EU is to have enough free ped so you can continue doing what you are doing while waiting for stuff to sell etc. If it's basic filters they will go straight to TT, basci sheet metal there is a chance of break even on even small runs as the product sells for more than it's components... but even then 200ped won't keep you entertained very long. Something like basic coil has a similar markup on product but low TT cost+component markup so you can sell and break even.

I agree with Immortal the stone texture bp's are probubly your best bet...but there will be a skilling period no matter what you decide to do...

I'll add my vote to Immortal's recommendation. The stone extractor system is early enough to not be nerfed yet. While this is no guarantee of profit, it represents MA's need to "skill up" at least *some* of the people quickly enough to have a range of players. In the long run, you stand a better chance of being in the "top tier" of that particular system that way.

It's a small, conceptual advantage, almost intangible, but every tiny bit helps some times.

And so MA nerfed our weapons and we were displeased but loyal. Now, when MA massively nerfs everything and tells us to put our weapons and skill aside, to go forth and color and texturize our clothes, are we to do so dispite it being an abomination to what was ONCE good?!?

also - the fabric texture from the tech might be a help as well. it will give you something to use the loots that you have collected from your hunting.

but, crafting is not where you want to start. you want to craft to use the supplies that you have hunted and mined. not hunt and mine to supply the crafting - is a focus of perception.

either way - best of luck to you with your work.

The realistic answer would be No.
But the same goes for mining, hunting, tailoring, beauty parlor etc...

200ped is just to low when It comes to starting up a proofession.

You can craft for 5min, and then sweat for 5days, and keep it going like that, but there is so relalistic chance of making long runs with crafting on a 200ped start.
