Hi i am now a lvl 10 tailor, and honestly am clueless as what to do next.
Which lvl should i skill now? or should i skill lower lvl with higher condition bar? Also which level should i expect to get decent successes on? I ask you cause i am not the "researcher" and i very much thank you guys here for all your hard work and sharing of experienses. i am sorry if this has been asked over and over before, i just couldn't find anything as relevant as i would like ![]() Also i would appreciate advice on bp's to purchase and you guys approx rate of success, Thanks a bunch in advance! |

Texture crafting and texturing contributes ( i went up half a level in a couple hours
) - just more freedom, and you can make cool things that are low m/u clicks like thefacemasks... depends what you want to achieve.. i clicked medium mask with nice success - i think the (L) prints in tailoring are nicely priced too... not very far to Quality Sense either.Really depends on what your goals are. If you want to skill faster there are the higher TT tailoring bp's that are still relatively low level - the ones that use enmats or ores can be usueful for generating m/u residue ... i like cross skilling on textures but it's up to you. Alternatively you could buy a high QR V print and click that. Levelling some of your I, II,III, IV's to a good QR isn't a bad idea though ![]() |

Thanks! I really appreaciate the input immortal
And i guess i should have told that i do some texturing also. "Really depends on what your goals are. Both, please :P Jk, my problem is that i am kind of missing a goal at all. Skiling faster? what do you mean with high tt bp low still low lvl? what do you think my success with lvl 5 would be :O ? Is there a good decent length and indepth tailoring guide? so that i do not have to bug you lol. |

"high tt" refers to the materials used.
The higher throughput you have in tt value per hour, the higher your skillgain per hour is. with lvl10 you still can't use very high lvl bps with good success at all, you probably shouldn't click much over lvl2, unless you feel like gambling ![]() Or is it 3.. damn don't remember.. where's that crafting guide? ![]() Well, I like my successbar as green as possible, but maybe I'm a pussy ![]() |

That' a good point - there really isn't a tailoring guide...partly i think because it is a new(ish) profession and evolving all the time (moreso than the other professions which before vu 9.3 had stagnated).
Let's compare two maxed bp's @ lvl 10 (at least i hope they are maxed at this level >_>) Basic Pattern Pants - Cost 1.5ped per click Flame Pattern Shirt - Cost 10.27ped per click. Considering the numbers, it should be expected that you need to do about 7 times the number of clicks on basic pants as on flame shirt to gain the same amount of skill. The benefits of flame shirt can be enmat residue - sells for 106% m/u compared to (virtually) no mark up for tailoring remnants Loot higher bps - higher TT click will give a higher chance to loot bp as well - sometimes the sale of these cover any small minuses you have during crafting Alternatively you could look at (L) prints - some prints are loaded (have inordinately high success) that people prefer to sell instead of click themselves...and compared to other craft profession (L) are cheap With regards to texturing ...well... maybe it's cheaper to skill your tailor level by texturizing than crafting with m/u items in some cases Btw i don't know if i was clear - i texture craft and i also do texturizing. Levelling up gives you more options, however if a particular bp works for you, there is no harm in sticking with it ![]() |
