Question: Which do you prefer?

"Success" or "Near Success"?

I've never been a big-time crafter...mostly I craft when I'm low on PED but have a lot of ores or whatever and I just feel like "rolling the dice". So, I've never crafted anything like OAs but I find that I make more on "Near Successes" than otherwise.

What do you think? Do you make more on residue in the long run or does the occasional "Success" make up for the PED you spend per click?

As a very noob crafter, I would say that Success is better being that I ofeten get residue in addition to my success. The near success is always a loss for me, but as I said, I am too new to crafting to have a truly valid scientific opinion.

Why is there a gun there in the loot window?, i thought if you got near success, you would not produce the desired object, but get some of the used materials back... But i am no crafter, could be wrong...

You can't have a near success ath. That image shows a loot window with loot from several attempts, and the person clicking got a near success after he got the ath.

I think he means Quantity or Condition,

if you take the time to read some posts you'll see this question has been done many times but i'll answer again.


If you want a good return with a smaller chance of Global/HoF/ATH stick to Quantity.

If you want a BAD return with higher chance of Global/HoF/ATH then got to condition (remember condition means you better have a large peds supply for chasing your ATH cause it wont come in your first run, or second or third see where i'm going here it might never come).

I know SOC mates that lost THOUSANDS of peds Chasing the OA-101 HoF, 1 guy almost lost his business he was pumping so much in.
