Texturizing

Hey guys,

How do you skill texturing fastest? And what is more eco?

Is it smart to texture clothing everytime with 1 texture material, then bleach and repeat? Or do you skill more with 100 texture materials for example?

I skill using usually 100 at a time...or 200 even...i spent months making textures and then made a whole slew of clothes and started texturing them...sometimes i'll retexture the same thing over and over until i get it to 100% then move to the next piece.

Very interesting, but i wanna know whats better 1 or 100 or 10000000.

I´m no expert on this matter but it seems the more ped value / click, the more skillpoints u get. I use 4-6 ped of textures / click and that works for me.
In the beginning one green line of skills gave me E.G. a jump from 259 to 271 in points. So I´ll continue doing that. I mostly use one shirt that I texturize, bleach and retexture.

I don't know that anyone really knows the answer to this one...if success is what makes the skills go up then using more then 1 or 50 would be the way to go...if how many skills you get is random it doesn't really matter.

I put 100-200 in each field to skill, it seems to go faster and i get skills each time.

I did the one paint can per click thing and it was not as successful.

I'd love to know the answer...but from my experience you need more then one in for each click to get the skills gains.

I don´t think the amount has anything to do with succes... but if u get a succes with one texture you might get 0,01 skill points. E.G 270,0 to 270,01... but if the same click is with 200 textures that are worth 6 ped it will jump alot higher. So with alot of textures, no succes will cost u more but for every green line u get the amount is more. I have no data to prove anything that I have experienced, but it works for me so I will continue to do this.

It can be comparable to hunting with an opalo or an MKII... one green line has a totally different value, depending on what you use.

the only thread that has done some testing with UL, non-SIB and SIB is this:

and I take for granted that the coders at MA are to lazy to do different skillsystems for different profesions so if u figure out how skillgains work for one profession, all the skillgains works the same for other professions.
