It's really up to the seller. If I have free spaces (currently only in PA mall), then I don't care to give it a try. On the other hand, if I sell something and the donation is not interesting for me, I will not do it all the time of course. So if you want to sell something, give it a try, donate, what is interesting for YOU and let's see, if I am happy too then .

I am asked several times:
If you give me an item and it does not sell at your wanted price and you take it back (for example to sell on the street or through auction): I don't charge anything too. The question just is, if I will give this seller a second chance later to sell something through my shops.

I think what sentenz meant is that really there isnt that much of an advantage of a shop....

Like theres obvious savings shops... of course you pay monthly fees... but you save .5pec and 2.5% on sale before other costs... of course with a shop comes lots of other costs not assosiated with auction...

The disadvantages are very big though...

Smaller market... if its your shop, monthly fee, furniture/decorations. Lower pricing to beat auctions...


I think at least from the few guys Ive talked to... that have shops is... exposure... of course Im sure some shops are very good for selling and such... but I know a few big crafters that use it for exposure... getting your name out there extra business and then of course contacts.... if people look through your shop and see items they like chances are theyll seek you out in person to avoid the shop fees + taxes and do it that way...


Thats just my opinion , if I was a crafter with anything good with a MU I might think about this of course the tip thing leaving it open as someone said might leave it up to some awkwardness... s

My only problem with this (great) idea, is that even less people seem to use shops now, than pre-vu10!

OMG you just gave me the best idea. That MA should think about. it has to do with player lender system everybody keeps begging for. But also has to do with crafters going to a shop and have an option to drop off their items atthe shop in a options panel for you shopkeepers to check it. and you can sell the crafters items. and take a cut for yourselves and they get the money.

also Only shop owners can lend items based on a time frame.

That will bring more people to shops i am sure of it. imma make a thread about it.

you mean sales tax... yeah its a good idea
distributor sells wholesale to store owners, store owners add their own markup. ofc true salestax goes to the gov't, but in theory what you mean is sales tax going to the store owner if i understand correctly.
