Craftin Weapons/Armor

I was wondering if anybody has seen a good guide to crafting Armor and Weapons... I've seen Alice's guides and as amazing as they are, I did not find a part specific to crafting weapons and or armor... Any help would be awesome, maybe even a skill progression chart too

I dont think there is any difference between crafting Armor/weapon and crafting other items.

No difference that I see. Like all other BPs....Gather materials, put materials and BP into the roulette...errr...crafting machine, hit the button and hope for the best.

Isn't there like a specific route I should take? For example when you texture its best to start with the generic texture bp for the sib... I hears something about basic conductors or whatever until I unlock a skill but after that I'm not sure...

First check hunting skills, are you sword master or laser hitter, that helps on crafting weapons, on armor craft there is no that kind of help. Engineering helps on both.

Check crafting skills if you have more laser skills when start
crafting with Jester (lvl 1 bp) and move when move up when skills uprising.
Mann is good to skill, but jester is cheaper, low level (L) weapons are waste of peds, thats my opinion and many others.

Same on armor check lvl 1 bp, cheap click value and keep clicks until success bar raise on lvl 2 or lvl 3 bp´s keep clicking and waste peds

I craft both weapons and armour at a low level...have for a while, slowly.

One big difference between the 2 is that low lvl armour is TT fodder, even to new guys it's useless. Weapons however aren't all useless at low lvl...they can nearly all be useful to someone and some (Rutic Slo for example) lvl 1 BPs aren't bad at all.

Getting to anything really worth crafting in either (to sell) will take a lot of peds and time I think, or maybe chipping is cheaper.

I chipped some engineering, mainly to avoid skilling on useless junk...and allow me to craft useable wepaons for my own use...a bi-product of that turned out to be some quite nice BPs looted because I wasn't crafting lvl1 BPs alone and that raised the BPs it was possible to loot.

If you're serious and can afford to do so, I'd advise eating a chip or two and avoiding RSI

Engi chips are so cheap today it would be silly not to eat a few if you're gonna be a serious crafter.
