Question: Crafting on CND/CP

I have heard of miners having to auction or street sell stuff they mine for less than usual, either because they need money for the return flight or they are overburdened due to there not being a storage facility on one or both places. I\'ve been told there are crafting stations on CND, and I would need to be there to make buying stuff on auction feasible (plus I could find even better deals on the street). So, I would like to ask you crafters whether it would be a good idea to fly to one of those places to reduce my materials cost, or is the difference so low it\'s not worth the hassle and ticket expense? If you think it\'s a god idea to craft there, which place should I go? I may also want to hunt a bit between crafting, and I hunt low-level creatures (preferably under 150 health and 20-30 damage), so keep that in mind as well.

I also have another question, unrelated to the subject line, since I\'m asking about crafting... When should I start looking into not crafting for extreme quantity? I seem to get virtually nothing when doing full condition.

Well, for one, you can't mine on CP so I doubt you will find anyone selling ores and enmatters there.

if u craft tt-stuff cnd is good to go...

but remember that u cannot buy item from auction in CND that were not put into auction FROM CND unless u pay a HUGE FEE. (20-50ped)

So its easy to figure almost no one put their stuff into auction from cnd cause its impossible to sell since no one want to pay a fee to buy it ( ppl from calypso pay a fee to get items down from cnd, and inverse as well)

So u might have trouble finding what u want if u regulary need oils or things like that since not many ppl HUNT in CND and, if they do, u need luck to get their attention so they sell u their oils

if u dont craft TT stuff, forget cnd as u will unable to sell from upthere and will have to pay a flight to come down to sell? OUCH

If u use animals oils in crafting, forget cnd.

if u use energy matter in ur crafting, cnd is harder to get some since most do ore mining there.

if u use only ore, what the fuck are u crafting? lol... cnd is for u then

Why do people mine ore more than enmatter there? And, how much below markup can I get things like Belkar or Blausariam?

well ppl dont like to get exploited u know...

some reseller try to ripoff miner up there by buying under 8-12% under normal markups... or around that it just depend of the ore...

so u might get blau and belkar at 2-3% under day markup at best...

also, ore = bigger gambling, and since more ppl do ore, there more chance.

enmatter mining in cnd is not that good. really, it do stink alot more than ore mining. but that doesnt mean there no one doing it. i do it but i can profit on ore and never on matters.

2-3%? There\'s no reason for me to go there if the savings is that low.

well so u tho u had the idea of the century and that no one else ever though about it?

my point is for u to get good savings u need to find ppl who accept to lose ped... if that was that easy. everyone would be already crafting in cnd...

Well, it was merely one idea I was contemplating. I explore a great many ideas.
