EFD/PED exchange rate

I couldn't find anything in the EFD rules about what an EFD is worth. Maybe I missed the obvious sentence, so please feel free to point out my noob stupidity if need be.

But assuming it's not there, would I be right in thinking that 1efd = 1pec?

Is this official or just what people will pay?

If that's wrong, what is the exchange rate?

711 stated the EFD ratio to 250:1, which means pretty much that 250 EFDs would equal one PED.

Though, this is just a guideline, in the EFD-auctions it goes higher. Id say that the rate used is somewhere between 300-500 EFDs for 1 PED.

Well last sale of 20k efd went for 200 to 1.

20k efd for 100 ped.

That was just like last week.

you know, what might not be a bad idea is to have some kind of exchange on this system. people could post bids or offers and the "official" exchange rate would just work itself out from that market.

I'm not a programmer type or anything like that but I can't see such an implemetation as being all that hard.

Yes an acutal auction system would be nice here. If not for all the auctions at least just for the efd ones.
