Well, there's plenty of events for everyone. Try some of the HU-run events for instance. You don't need to be uber to win those. I won Qetesh's first argo event and I'm certainly no more than mid-level skill-wise.

Yeah they can win more than one. They just can not be trying to claim more than one at once. Warants claimed LA-18 before M2S claimed LA-4, so once they'd held for four hours they had a little time to try for LA-4 as well but M2S and friends held them off.

And yes, they can alter the DNA, hence the Kingfisher Stalkers that are now South of Nate.

They can add fertiliser and change the DNA just like any land area owner can, so if there have been Kingfisher Stalkers around then yes, that's where they're coming from.

I'm not sure about adding/removing DNA - though I'm pretty sure MA wouldn't allow them to destroy the DNA that exists there by default, would they? Please don't test this theory on Oculus/Kingfisher/Thorio

DNA has been destroyed in the past by some Societies when their term of owning the LA almost ended. This probably in the hope of making the LA a lower priority target in a next LG.

But isn't it the case that the DNA gets reset on new ownership? In which case it is a futile move.

Could be. I do know that after the previous landrab ownership period ended there was an LA which did not have any DNA left. See:

MA wont replace deleted DNA in LA's
