Nice idea.

I will deliberately spend the next few weeks ignoring n00b's on principle

Gets round the question about duplicate avatars rather nicely too.

Think it is a great concept, and I'll look forward to reading the installments.

If you feel your armour looks dull, please let me know and I will point you at a person who will probably offer to 'spruce it up' for you. Ah...no, wait...not talking to n00b's for a few weeks so that can't happen.

Itīs good to know there is an non nOOb out ther looking around and the bad people may bump in to you. I would love it if they do would serev them right to try something on youre test avatar.
