What would you do if you were out hunting with your mentor, using his D-1 and more donated ammo and you just happened to loot an ML-35 or Shadow Gloves or some other costly item and he told you to give it to him ?

Please don't be true to your experiment and give it to him.

This is very very nice After a year and a half of playing I still dont use the keyboard hotkeys, I just drag the item onto the screen and use buttons I really should use the keyboard more often.... Great article though, I look forward to the next installment! +REP!

Thats a hard question! While I would love to be able to add that sort of value to the "reward pool" it isnt really following the rules of the experiment, but on the other hand if i did keep it, the experiment would be deemed a faliure anyway as people would assume it was MA "tweaking" the loots...

Dont think i could win either way with that situation Maybe I wouldnt report it and give it to Pinky!

its becoming a struggle to keep playing two avatars and write up the articles, hold down a full time job and keep up with a demanding little girl from a time perspective - I have had to neglect Pinky a little tbh, which is a real shame as we have just taken on an arse load of people in Terra Verde and I am missing out getting to know them... but, i do love writing my articles, this one is especially nice as its had such massive positive feedback from the comunity. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside (or is that just the Jaffa Cakes? )

I am just not too sure if the way of dumbest noob is a real way to approach it. Regarding the Mentor thing a "normal" noob would have asked "Whats a Mentor?" "What does he do?" and lot of more. Taking everything said as "valid" asks very much for a disappointing experience at least at some point?

But I must say it is very well possible I am overestimating newbies approach towards a game these days and comparing it to my own approaches. Think Yngwe from E.Z. is still thinking about some questions I confronted him with during my discipleship .

To me a normal approach would have been "Hm, I need a Mentor? Ok, if I need one, I want to know whats it about."

Being a noob doesn't mean the total absence of common sense (but as I mentioned I could be mistaken, lol).

IIRC, she did ask a lot of questions, and she didn't need to ask those, because that is what we explained to her, she was quite bothersome for a new arrival They are just so cute, those new arrivals!
