![]() Glad Pinky realised and reported how good it feels to be on the good end of a small gift, and how things aren't as easy for n00bs as they were to earn by sweating. Good story all round. Fun to read. It's going to be interesting to see what else happens in this journey in another guys orange shoes ![]() t |

I was at the noob event with JD (we just decided to turn up and watch). JD is in the background of one of the images sitting down.
Free stuff, i've given away pixie before, myself and Amar helped set up a noob with almost a full set of pixie at one point. I was planning on giving some pixie harnesses away but I must have tt'd them a while back as I only had a couple of pixie faces left. One thing I noted was that a few noobs attending weren't exactly new, some had been around for atleast 5 months but had such low skills they were allowed to compete. |

Absolutely loving this. I fully understand the mentor issue. Through lack of research, I was stuck with mine until graduation. I realised my mistake when any question I asked was quickly followed by him logging off! He was very kind to inform me that he usually would collect about 30 disciples, then log in every three months or so to claim graduation gifts.
Thankfully a kind soc and a friends mentor got me through. Looking foward to the next installment :-) EDIT:- So that is where I give +rep :-) |

I usually auction any armor parts that have a markup of 50pec or more, but only if they are low-tt.
Put the buyout at tt+1 or 1.50 and it always sells. After auction fees, it's a profit of 50pec or a ped and someone gets the armor he's looking for cheap. Seems like a win-win situation. Of course, it's virtually impossible to sell high-tt stuff. Might just as well tt it. Silly noobs. ![]() |
