Ah, cool. We don't get as much spillover from the continent here. I only know of Moomins because of a Finnish exchange student friend and then seeing some exhibit of them somewhere in Finland.

Very slightly back on topic, i forgot to point out that it's Omegaton, not Omegatron.

No way for me to guess, because I'm pretty sure I play at completely different times from Pinky. Thankfully, I haven't gotten any disciples

Just a quick insight

Even though I dont know who you newb is I have read everything you wrote.

Just signed up today so I could post a few thoughts.

Great job by the way although I think you may have given you Identity up from the first post you made.

ie. when you said you saw you friend and aked if he spoke port..... that I believe would have been an inside joke from the way it was writen, and if he was on top of it he should have known who you really were.

None the less I think that you post have been very well writen and I have enjoyed them enormously.

Youre one of the reasons I even started up and reg. on EF

thanks for the fun

Hi there Pinky, and all fellow entropians. I haven't been around in EU due to computer malfunctioning for about a month or so. But here I am again to comment and to keep updated to whats happening in that Swedish virtual world.

Pinky, Ive read your articles and I am enthralled by your consistent progression. Being an incognito "noobie" sure requires sacrificing the time you have with your online friends and restrain yourself from your past game experiences with your real avatar. However, you managed to find a way around it, as natural instinct of survival. You had to rely on depositing, which is fine. Average people make deposits at a seldom rate. I was one of them.

I will look forward to your adventures as a decoy noob. I just wish I was there to help you in the way; whichever noob you might be.

When I first started, someone dropped a low tt 1x axe in the bio-dome at PA along with 10 ped. I still have the axe and drop items now to pay a debt forward.
I love the term "pay it forward".

I too was very fortunate to get a great benefit when relatively new to EU. It was extremely unfortunate that one of my best friends within EU passed away from a brain tumour. We had talked about it for approx 4 months, my friend found the anonymity of chatting in EU a real relief. When he passed away (aged 31) his wife logged on his avatar to tell me he had left his gear to me in his will. A full set of Vigi among other things gave me a real boost.

Ever since I have been "paying it forward" and feel very satisfied that I am able to do so.

Well done Pinky. Looking forward to the conclusion of this experiement.

Too bad your mentor couldn't make more of an effort, its now going to cost him/her a fair bit of rep.

I've not taken on any disciples because i know i couldn't commit to being there all the time atm.

To all those that can and do, however, well done and give yourselves a collective pat on the back.

Me too

Not a clue who Pinkyn00b is/was but I can think of a couple of names, one of which may or may not be the farmer.

Yes Dave I agree,
Similary its with sadness that I have just learnt of a the death of another in VR EU friend and in this instance a former GA society member who eventually moved over to the Gladiators.

I knew Anton for a short time on text and know that he found the chats beneficial with his condition; he was up front with me about his condition... but I suspect few confidants to the end.

It is with sadness I have just learnt of his death. I understand Anton moved onto another society The Gladiators, and they have been successful in having a weapon named by MA in his memorium....good on ya
The GeoTrek H40-(L) Brody

Glads absolutely superb work ......rememberance

I understand Anton chipped out and handed all to others..so there is bit of him in some

RIP mate

We play and we forget sometimes that
we are all real....

So I will pay it forward as well if the time comes
