Next time get a UMTS modem: I played my LG session from a lodge on the slopes, 2200 meter a.s.l., and had very little lag (although I got disconnected twice during the 8 hour battle).

Only thing which suffered was my skiing the following day.

It would be easy for me to make a post here thanking MA for a smooth land grab. A part of me also wants to congratulate all the societies that participated in the event and had fun. And of course, you'd expect me to talk forever about how awesome our allies are, etc. etc. blah, blah blah!

No, I will have none of that! I am far too concerned about a certain matter regarding our newly acquired fertilizer shed at LA10!

Very late during the land area battle, several of you thought it would be amusing to continuously bombard a very expensive piece of equipment with dangerously explosive rocket fire.

Needless to say the damage to the unit was extensive ( over 9,000 ped), and with replacement parts being scarce on this lost planet, the cost to restore this precious machinery is considerable.

Those responsible should think long and hard about the consequences of their actions: broken alliances and legal action.

I hope it was worth it.
