![]() The battle for the final ten lands up for grabs in this year's Land Grab took place on Saturday evening. The fighting lasted well over 12 hours, continuing into the early hours of Sunday morning. All 19 land grab areas have now been claimed, which should bring some interesting new hunting options on Amethera for the next six months. Warants, AoW, M2S, Shaolin, Mod Deja Vu, Dark Knights and cK each claimed a land area early on and held it for the required time. Art of War shortly afterwards wrestled control of LA-9 from Amethera Demons and then held it, bringing their tally of land areas won in this Land Grab up to four. BAHQ claimed LA-6 early into the event. After holding it for about an hour and half they lost control after a siege by M2S, Warants and Chaos Crew. With the help of a number of friends from other societies they regained control shortly afterwards and held it despite fierce attacks from M2S and Warants, to claim their first land area of the campaign. The battle for LA-10 raged on for over half a day. Chaos Crew maintained the early vigil but were overthrown by cK in cooperation with allied societies. After the reset, M2S took control of the claim but in the early hours of the morning cK successfully contested it with the help of BAHQ and Deja Vu amongst others, and despite further attacks finally won the land at around 7am MA time, equalling AoW's achievement of four land areas won over the campaign. Thanks hoos, I've made a slight amendment along the lines of your original post before you edited. No EF reporters were available to cover the event unfortunately so I've had to rely on the limited info that's been posted on the forum by people involved.

This is by far the most exciting and memorable of the LG's I have witnessed so far..
Breathtaking anticipation... Awesome Attacking... Valiant Defending...... Selfless Loyalty........ With Soc mates putting it all on the line...and Friends assisting without a thought to the expense they are incurring for the good of friendships and allies. Gratz to those who won LA's....and condolences to those who put up such a brave fight to see their claim turn over after many long and draining battles. Will look forward to the next one ![]() Echo |

Understood, and good article! The reason CC was able to be reset after the first LAs had been claimed, and after BAHQ claimed LA6 with massive support against massive attacks, was that after the reset of BAHQ on LA 6 which you mention at around the 1.5 hour mark, BAHQ, Deja vu, Shaolin, etc. sent a strike team and reset CC, ensuring that their LA would still be up for grabs after BAHQ claimed LA 6.
