What a shame your national news doesnt join in the fun - god knows we need a bit of humour in our lives when all we hear these days is war and famine.

Think its pretty common in most of Europe too.. And not to mention such big internet sites as Google, Youtube and The Pirate Bay have also done april fools today Even NASA!

the BBC is also a respected news source, worldwide. LOL even the little backwater towns here in Montana carry stories like this today. I came home from work, was reading the paper and read this story about how our city was trying to become the Scientology city because L. Ron Hubbard's foundation was going to build some big museum here. As I was reading I was going what in the heck is our city council thinking, this is so much BS and then realized the date.

To be honest I get caught the most when it is in a newspaper or news article because that is the place we least expect it. After the first paragraph I began to wonder if this was a joke. By the time I was done I was sure of it, but that is because it was after I was caught with the newspaper story.

The EF thread with the looted MM fooled me way too easy!

Yes, it happens in australia too. Our major phone network set everyones phone time an hour wrong for example. I love a good prank too. My post was in response to the deleted posts just because they figured it out, they got deleted? Plus rep for pinky.
