Yet I'm sure I speak for many when I ask .. Why the hell is mindark taking so long (nearly 2 years) to actualy complete the story about this egg?

It is Unique and it was worshiped by natives of Calypso, before it was found. We have been told that whatever comes forth will take our Breath Away..

Every Civilization needs Myths and Objects with Supernatural Power.

I'm thrilled to have such a Wonderous Treasure in my Safekeeping and now that my Skills Double when I keep it in my inventory, I feel less preoccupied with its hatch date.

I'm pretty sure it has other Powers too, that I havent yet figured out, but Glowbones was able to gather a few secrets for me, but it wouldn't be prudent to reveal them.
I think already the Space Pirates might be taking an unhealthy interest in the Egg.
