Are we saying that two avatars are bidding $12,000 for a DNA part when neither has a clue how many other DNA parts they will need to create this new mob, or how much HP this new mob will have?

I'm assuming, rather like the egg, the sale of CND, Space Pirates etc, that at least one of them has inside information.

Clearly, it is possible for a land owner to calculate the value of new DNA parts by "working backwards" given certain information. Or he may have run out of immediately available PEDs or be saving the money for something we don't know about.

"I, Jon Neverdie Jacobs, at the time of bidding on this item, knew no more than any other avatar about this or associated DNA parts and/or the new mob it relates to. There are new DNA Parts, never seen bevor ingame.
Surely there will be a new mob beeing made from this DNA parts.

Very interesting information for participants to know what new DNA may be worth to landowners like Death or ND. I apreciate that there is this report about this hmm most expencive DNA part ever sold in EU history.
This one may be compareable to the hogglo pelvis find. How much of them have ever been found, its one or two ???

This front-page story is an interesting article about an entertaining bidding war between two of EU's high-fliers. But its not just about them, its about the fact we'll soon be getting new mobs to hunt, its about the fact some 'regular' guy dropped a bomb at the cost of a ped or two and found an item that turned out to be worth over $12k. How the hell is this not a news story?

As to stories about/for the regular people. Pinky wrote a whole series on the life of a newbie. My last article on the Champions League, whilst perhaps reporting on the elite players winning overall, was written from the perspective of a mid-level player and how I went about trying to keep pace with the big guns in the final event.

I would be very embarressed if ND did feel he had to make such a statement in a thread i created. I suggest you make a request like that in your own thread. ND has nothing to prove IMO and his business is his own and has nothing to do with anyone else. He has also stated over and over he has no such dealings with MA and the space pirates thing is his own ideas about what will happen in the future.

I would request everyone stay on topic on this thread and if you want to debate anything to do with ND's business you do it elswhere and not in this thread.
