First shops sold!

If you are a shop-o-holic -be scared.
Be very scared.

The Platinum apartmentbuilding in Treasure Island City was the first to get functional shops as the first batch of six estate deeds were sold via Auction today. Most of the deeds ended up at around 3000-3500 peds.
The shops itself have always been inside the buildings since the Amathera cities were made, but have been empty and cold uptil now. Version Update 8.1 brought with it the ability to drop items in these shops, and display the goods that is for sale to the customer in the shop itself and not just via a window like with the old shopkeepers.

There are two types of shops. Shops number 1, 3,4 and 6 have room for 50 items indoors, while number 2 and 5 have room for 75 items indoors. Currently there is more shops for sale on the auction, located on Amethera and Club Neverdie.

There is also the display area which is GREAT cant wait till everybody gets themselves in order and things are done quick

I know HardWrath and Optima/Rollo has a shop each, dont remember the rest

There was fierce competition in the auctions this morning and the bidding war dragged on for almost 30 minutes of non-stop bidding only to be out bid by other players but fortunately I was the first or second person to win one! For those of you that don’t know... when you place a bid on an item that has less then 5 minutes left the timer is reset for another five minutes so as a result we all had plenty of time to empty our PED cards on these shops!

As soon as I got the shop deed in my hands we ran down to check it out and to test the functionality, as a result the first shop sale took place with 100 Mind Essence for 3 PED and it was in my shop!

As the word spread more and more people started to show up but seating was limited to only one chair, soon people got tired of standing and some minor skirmishes nearly broke out... When Miss Reporter wants to sit down you get your ass up! …this guy learned quickly

i managed to purchase a shop in the opening round of auctions.


good natured auction process, with many of the bidders (and eventual buyers) at the service center in treasure island city.

I know the interest level in this has been high, which came as a bit of a shock, so i am already looking to restock many items that have been sold on the first day.
