The alarm rings. Not awake or really keen on waking up, I keep pressing the slumberbutton. Deep in my mind I know there was some good reason for me to wake up, but I forgot so Im thinking its really not that important. I was wrong. When I wake up, I do my daily morning routine -I log on to EntropiaForum. Thats when I notice the theme in 50% of the new threads.. LANDGRAB!

Oyster Island
Oh my god, I totally forgot. I was allready half an hour late from the start. Or so I thought. Luckily, for me, the landgrab was postponed two hours, so MindArk could release VU 8.1.3 beforehand.
By the time the servers came back online after the VU, I have decided to wear my red and white coat to signalize that I am a reporter. Or hopefully, those who doesnt know who I am, will take me for being a paramedic. My first stop will be Oyster Island, where Shaolin is holding the claim -however just barely as Amathera Demons' Focus is allready in the landgrab-spirit and are slaying the shaolins furiously. However, chops are being served by Akoz's Unique Legend Axe. I manage to stay alive 24 minutes without getting as much as a stray shot, before I am brutally killed by a spectator with a Ep-41. The Landarea is set up in a interesting way. The Teleport is right next to the land area claim, however if you are killed, you travel all the way to HunterZ's shed area in the east. When I get back to the LandArea, after being cut off a short while of my internetprovider, Elite Group and Warants are challenging the stealthy Shaolin claim. Some of the Warants members seem to have been bored, just one hour into the claimtime, and went to riot some other areas for fun. Shaolin seem to have everything under control, and despite of dying now and then they quickly return, smiles and keeps sending their challengers to revival.

Easy win?
I decide to move on. Wolverines Hope is filled with Ex Cons, gathering up their societymates. I fire up my Teleportchip and head towards LandArea 1. I tp right by the claimrod. "Perfect" I think, a little proud of my teleport-aiming. A little too perfect. My vision goes red, and before me stands a very sad KODER who killed me by mistake -before he saw who I was. Im oooOOooOOoo'ing at him. When I finally get back from the revival at a shed-area longer north, Rangers of Calypso kindly greet me -and this time not in bullets. "Today we shoot first and regret later" is the answer Starman gives me to why the LA is so very calm. I noticed that. Jor had joined their old socmates in the battles of what seemed like a easy win. They have all the time in the world -flirting, pogo'ing, trying to make the time pass one way or another. Luckily, Ex Cons arrives now and then to give them some action. The battles is embarrasingly quickly over, and the RoC guys goes back to their pogoing like nothing ever happened. I ask what they want to do with the LandArea if they get it. "Fill it with girls!" and "parteeeeeey!" is the cheerful comments I get, which I take a humorous way of saying "We have no idea."

Troubled coatKillers
While I try moving to LA 15, I hear RoC created a traffic jam at revival of what they belived to be The Drow. I meet Leafren (coatKillers) who claims this really isnt their day. I learn that cK have experienced a bug costing them their landarea. When I arrive at the claim, Stoikow (Warants) is mocking cK for not grabbing land this round. "We actually claimed LA 2" Rei replies "Only to watch it magically go away as Da got killed by a Thorifoid." There is more to the story. Seems cK lost their landarea even though it was lots of cK's in the area of the claim. However, at LandArea 15 there is full chaos. Numerous people from different socs are running around placing stray shots everyone hoping it would be enough for them to die. Or so it seems anyway. Black Angels HQ is holding the claim. Randy faps me as I get a few stray shots, which I cant really tell came from him or anyone else. The scene is amazing, the variety in armors are spectacular. In the other landarea's and in earlier landgrabs there have been mostly two colors in armors -Black and blue. However, with the new animal series and armordecay, many seem to fashion choices then the typical look. BLP is still the fashioned firearm though, DOA's of different variations and Swine Deluxe's seem to be popular.
All in all, BAHQ seems miraculously to have control over the chaos. I however doesnt, and dont even see where the shots come from when I start fapping. My fap doesnt get to decay that much before I get killed by a Strikehammer in Quick Silver's hands..

Loosing control
Known RoC names keep popping up on allchat in pk-globals. They are dying, and I hear they are being challenged by Menace to Society (M2S). As Starman and Jor is at revival, a strange bug occurs. Teleport chips stop working. I notice this myself as Im on my way to LA 9 but cant get anywhere. While more and more RoC's are sent to revival, none of them manage to get back in time to hold their claim and protect their socmates. They loose it. Even though Im on the other side of Amathera, I can feel the p*ssed-mist all the way there. RoC isnt giving up however, and are trying to claim the area back.

"Is this is?" Im thinking. "Nah, cant be.. Too few people". I have been running around, looking for LA 9's claim some minutes now. Calypso Conquerers' Andy greets me and seems happy to get some new company. Only 3 of his socmates are present by the claim, the others are out trying to claim another one. We chat about everyday stuff, and I dont even notice the people moving towards the claimrod before they are glowing white and having a neat skull over their bodies. Fast, Effective. I keep thinking of the huge contrast -in some areas there are 3-4 socs all fighting eachother and the claimholder. While here its just me and CC, having a cup of tea.

Dark Knights' LA 14 is under attack, but they dont seem to take it very seriously. As soon as I enter the radar, I hear joking and laughter. This is a happy bunch! Groene Draeck is helping them out, and jak of DK -Squires is allready promoting the LandArea as DK's in allchat, even tho the time is just 2/3 finished. My stay isnt for very long however. I found one of the missing CC's, Stormer. He also found me, with a Modified DAR. I die, but Dub gets him right after with his own Unique Dub and McCormick Terminator.

Drama at LA 1
The Drama on LA 1 continures and I am very tempted to go there instead of using time on visiting LA 2 and 3. I follow my temptation -I come, I die, I revive. Babe killed me, me and my coat falls in the mud by the newly appeared MindArk Monitor. I teleport up again, but same thing happens all over. By revive, Qualia (RoC) is followed by Phantom and Moonear (M2S) who are throwing ammo at him with a couple of DOA's. Qualia stops up, faps now and then, mocks them, laughs and runs around. After a while they give up chasing him, and are tp'ing back up to the real battle. Qualia comments that he was infact only trying to get them to stay away from the LandArea, and he didnt have any ammo himself. Revival is a mess, Qualia is trying to hold off the M2S by killing them by the revival -which is making them furious. This seem to evolve to a unfriendly war. At this point, most of the LandArea's claims have finished, and only LA 1 is left. People all over are celebrating, except where I am, where the tension could be cut through like a knife. The fight seem to be quite even. RoC got the high end equipment, and very high skills -but are outnumbered by M2S.

Toilet?
People from the finished LA's are starting to gather at LA 1. There might have been a war before, but this is a slaughter. The glowing skulls are covering the field. BAHQ. Shaolin and CC is now actively fighting, as well as some DK's, about the smallest piece of land this round. I get killed, over and over, by the same guy. rhPhM3 is M2S friendly, but seems to have made me his favorite target. Then the server dies. At irc, people are wondering if they should laugh or cry. But to look on the bright side, at least now the participants can go to the toilet, even tho BAHQ swears to bottles by the computer. (or so they say...)

When the server comes up again, people are complaining about the mess, that they cant see who they shoot and who is who. I really dont find that so weird, concidering 70% is wearing shadow. You can imagine the money running around in the field. Shadow, high end weapons and faps, expencive clothing and skills worth thousands of dollars. I again get sent to revival by rhPhM3, and realize I dont have any mindessence left to get back. I get frustrated. RoC is giving up, obviously also frustrated. Starman is globaling on Second Enity as I walk back to the claim, where I again die, but stay as a corpse. 5 minutes before the end of the claim, M2S is still holding it but are expriencing a attack of berycled prowlers. The scene looks rather hilarious, huge birds picking and jumping on the elites -and just after the fields are cleared again, the claim expires and M2S can celebrate their victory. Landgrab phase one is over, congrats to the claimers!

This is the part i realy looked forward to seeing about LG since i'm still i'm not uber skilled and geared up.

I realy love the storyline that LG adds to PE the great wars and battles.
